Submission Modifications question to forge Application

I have a question regarding this

A. Draft Submissions: Prior to the end of the Submission Period, you may save draft versions of your submission on Devpost to your portfolio before submitting the submission materials to the hackathon for evaluation. Once the Submission Period has ended, you may not make any changes or alterations to your submission, but you may continue to update the project in your Devpost portfolio.

What about Forge Application itself? Can it be modified after Sep 13, 2021 ?

    Hi Andrew!

The app itself must remain unchanged throughout judging. The Devpost platform has two states at the end of a submission period: the submission which is saved at the deadline and is not edited and the project which is the version you see in your user profile and in the project gallery on the hackathon. These can be edited after the deadline BUT judges don't see those changes. They see what was captured at the deadline.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Stef,
I have one more question regarding to submission. There is question `Do you have an app listed in the Atlassian Marketplace?`. What If we didn't publish this app on marketplace yet, but we are thinking about publishing this app before Contest Announcement (October 08)? Is this consistent with the rules? If so, should we modify the entry for this information on our submission when we publish to the marketplace?

    Thanks
    Mateusz

Ooh good question, Mateusz. If it's not listed in the Marketplace when you submit your entry on Devpost, answer No to that question. You can mention in either the private Testing Instructions field or in the public "What's Next for [Your Project Name]" section that you are submitting the app for publication in the Marketplace.
